It has also acquired unsold inventory in branded signature projects in global markets like The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Veer Towers City Center Las Vegas, Peninsula On The Intracoastal Palm Beach and the iconic Sorrento Tower located in the Fontainebleau Hotel Miami Beach. Mark Pordes

CEO & Founder

Mark Pordes’ career spans more than three decades and holds brokerage licenses in Florida and Nevada as well as a series 22 securities license. working independently, and with some of South Florida’s largest and most prominent developers and speaks fluent Spanish and Portuguese. During that time, Mark honed skill sets needed to create a highly successful luxury real estate company Legacy Development Sales & Marketing Sales & Marketing that oversees the sales and marketing of high-end residential projects in the U.S. and abroad. His drive, vision, and longevity of experience provided the foundation to build the infrastructure of the best professionals in the sales and marketing luxury residential industry who successfully sold and reposition assets throughout South Florida’s tri-county area of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach as well as Las Vegas and the Caribbean in excess of $3B of residential units in some of the most prominent properties.

Prior to forming his own company at the end of 2009, Pordes managed sales projects for some of South Florida’s largest residential developers. Those include Turnberry Residential, where Mark was VP of Sales for Residential Development for 10 years, managing, overseeing and selling out more than 4,500 units. The projects included: Porta Vitta Aventura, Turnberry on the Green, Turnberry Village North & South Towers Aventura, Oceania Tower 5 Sunny Isles Beach, the Tressor and Sorrento condo hotel towers at the world renown Fountainebleau Miami Beach, the Residences at Atlantis Nassau Bahamas, and The Residences at MGM Las Vegas Nevada.

Since 2009, Mark Pordes has brokered some of the largest luxury condominium bulk sales in South Florida such as The Ritz Carlton in Singer Island $140M to LionHeart Capital, Trump Hollywood $161M to BH3 Group and Nobe Bay in Miami Beach to 13th Floor Group for $38M. Notably, he brokered a $220M transaction in 2014 for the entire resort that consisted of 150 unsold condo hotel units and the hotel tower at the W Fort Lauderdale Hotel & Residences to Related New York. Additionally he brokered the remaining inventory at Echo Aventura to a private equity group from Long Island, New York, a $15M bulk transaction.

In 2010 he worked on prominent projects including Schooner Bay, a master planned community in the Abaco Bahamas, as well as Old Fort Bay, a waterfront gated community in Nassau Bahamas.

Legacy has the unique ability to analyze an asset, set up the proper infrastructure, and organize the sales and marketing program for developers, lenders and private equity firms to penetrate, reposition, and sell in today’s marketplace. As a recognized leader in the luxury condominium market, Pordes and his team consult with client developers and hedge fund partners to provide updated market studies and the due diligence necessary for large transactions or the acquisition of bulk condo or Multifamily sales. Media outlets across South Florida have often referred to Mark as the “King of Bulk Buys,” noting that he has a knack for spotting the best off market transactions and a proven track record to execute them maximizing their potential for very lucrative profits. Adam Kaufman

President and Chairman

As President, Chairman and Co-Founder of Legacy Forbes Global Properties, Adam Kaufman oversees the day-to-day sales management of the firm’s luxury real estate portfolio and day to day management and operations of the Company’s general real estate division. Kaufman’s extensive real estate experience includes the sales and marketing of lifestyle-driven urban, resort and waterfront properties and has resulted in over $1 Billion dollars in sales. Kaufman’s background includes a diverse product mix of condominiums, single-family villas, townhomes and condominium hotels, each targeted to the discretionary luxury real estate homebuyer and investor/user markets at varying stages of development. His expertise covers in-depth sales and operational management from the initial launch of preconstruction sales through to the developer’s final sellout. With the setup of sales operations, Kaufman leads the recruitment, staffing and training of the sales team and manager. In the management of the day-to-day operations, Kaufman is responsible for ensuring legal compliance, reviewing condo documents, establishing operational budgets, negotiating contracts, implementing robust communication programs, and maintaining operations within the approved development budget. Kaufman also oversees a comprehensive marketing program focused on taking full advantage of today’s digital platforms while maximizing traditional lead generation opportunities.

Kaufman is a Licensed Real Estate broker, member of the National Association of Realtors, Florida Board of Realtors, a and a graduate of Fairmont State College in West Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education. This unique background enables Kaufman to actively integrate agent motivation within the in-depth sales training program.

Experienced owner broker, Mindy Pordes has over 25 years of individual and team success of luxury real estate sales in the South Florida. Opening her first Real Estate Brokerage firm at age 25, in 1994, she has sustained an exceptional track record of consistent sales success throughout the many changing market conditions of S. Florida.

Mindy has years of hands on experience in all aspects of the sales process such as gathering leads, qualifying prospects, performing sales presentations, executing purchase agreements and coordinating closings. As a seasoned Broker with creative leadership skills she has managed over 50 of her own sales agents and has acted as a Director of Sales on multiple luxury condominiums from Coconut Grove, Downtown Miami, Brickell, Miami Beach, Aventura and Ft. Lauderdale.

Skilled in negotiation, advertising, marketing, and branding, Mindy pays special importance to creating value for customers by keeping them informed about each step of the process from listing to closing. She is proficient in English, Spanish, and Portuguese and with extensive experience in international relationship building to generate sales in the local market.

With more than 26 years of experience in residential mortgage brokerage and real estate business, Melissa Pordes has carved out a niche specializing with foreign national buyers and non-warrantable condos.  She provides financing for all residential, commercial, portfolio and private loans.

Her experiences include business development, broker network management, loan origination, marketing, and management of all operational aspects of a mortgage business.  In 1994 she started Infinity Mortgage Group, Inc, and was quickly recognized as the preferred mortgage broker business for many South Florida new condominium projects.

Melissa has specialized in portfolio and foreign national financing.  Her experience encompasses numerous new developments projects to secure their buyers financing in time for closing.  Melissa’s track record includes notable projects such as Marina Palms, Terrazas Riverside, Sian, Sole, Canyon Ranch, Turnberry Ocean Colony, Fountainbleu, Bently Bay, The Continuum, Santa Maria, The Fortune House, Williams Island, just to name a few.  She has been recognized for delivering unparalleled customer service, and her formula for success includes consistent networking and prospecting, unparalleled organizational skills and a strong work ethic.  She has a verifiable track record of success backed by impeccable references.

Ivan Hoffman

Chief Administrative Officer

As the Chief Administrative officer, Ivan Hoffman is responsible for overseeing the administrative operations within the organization. Works directly with top-level executives to devise strategies to meet the organization’s objectives, and reports on the performance of the various departments to the President and CEO.

Ivan manages and supervises the day-to-day operations of various departments, such as finance, contracts, scheduling closings, legal compliance matters, reviewing agreements, HR, and marketing support. Analyzes reports and formulates improvements to departmental workings.
